Hope reminds us

Hope reminds us we are not forgotten by God/the Divine/the Universe even as we feel lost, confused or alone. Hope is The Divine's reminder we are not alone. Hope is God's reminder we know what to do and where we are going. Hope is the light of The Universe upon our path that we might see where we are, where we are going and who walks with us.

Hope is a gift. It is intended for us. Our hopes are ours and ours alone; chosen, ignited, fed, inspired by the desire to propel us forward into what is true about us and the possibilities of our lives. The events, coincidences, synchronicities, words which give rise to these hopes are not chance, are not happenstance, they are carefully and gracefully "danced" into our lives that they might ignite hope.

Our hopes are God's hope that we might hope in the face of adversity. What The Divine has as possibilities in our lives are our hopes. Our hopes are designed by a Universe that would have us be all of our brilliance. And in all our brilliance do we find our peace, do we find our happiness, do we find our purpose, do we find our joy. In all our brilliance do we heal the world, love well, and be loved.

Hope is a gift, a guide-post, a whisper of comfort and support. Hope is predestined. Hope is needed in order to become more. Hope is the right of every man lest The Universe, God, The Divine fail to call us all home. I think we should be missed were we not to return to the Source of all light from which we came; without our light it would not be nearly as glorious in heaven in the end.

Take rest in your hope, receive it, nurture it, believe what it whispers, follow it as it urges you forward. No one who has ever overcome gave away all their hope. No person, no heart, who has been raw with suffering or sorrow who has healed and become a healer has abandoned all hope. No messiah, no saint, no prophet on the mountain top has turned away from hope and brought miracles on their heels.

To turn away from our hope means we choose a harder path, we choose difficulty, confusion, embracing feelings of loneliness, of being lost, of being unworthy, of being forgotten. To turn away from hope is to turn away from truth in the midst of a lie.

Embrace that hope you keep in secret and have never dared speak of. Open it within your own mind and in every moment you can remember to... dance in its beauty, revel in its secret promises. Let that secret hope, that light you carry close to your chest for the most magnificent, unspeakable beauty flow into every aspect of your mind. Surrender to the beauty. Allow that possibility. Live moment upon moment fed upon this hope you have. Dare to dream that secret dream, long that secret longing, and be with it not simply in your darkest of moments but in ALL of them.
