Forgotten Things

I have been working on a new Altered Book, the title for this one is Pharmacopeia, an Apothecary's index. It revolves around free apothecary labels for Halloween that are out there on the web. I have added a separate section just for potions as well since there were quite a few of those around as well. Here is a link to one of MANY pages out there,  Apothecary Labels. For this altered book I am using an old 1980 cookbook as my starting point.

My work on this book isn't stopping me however from working on my next book which is to be about fairies. I have been doing research on fairy lore and digging up all my digital files of fairies and putting them together on sheets to print out for the book. Tonight while looking for some digital collage sheets I came across Itkupilli, a digital artist who is very whimsical and whom I love the work of, itkupilli . I also have been trolling the net for some inspiration. Like these beauties here, lovely shoes, soooo sweet. I also saw some cuffs online which made me think of this pair I made for a showing in Seattle. Which I looked for and must have sold or I would have put them up for you to look at.

I just realized I haven't posted here since I moved to Florida away from the Seattle area. Soooo, hello from sunny Florida all you poor people in the rain or snow. I feel for you I spent twenty years in Wyoming winters and then fifteen years in rainy, and sometimes snowy, Seattle. No more of that for me at least for another thirteen years.
